\textbf{Untouchability:} It a a social evil that prevail in India from a long period of time. In this, people related to specific caste are refused to touch and they have to face many social discriminations.

Provisions in Indian constitution to abolish it are:

◾Article 17, of Indian constitution abolish untouchability. It declares untouchability a punishable offence in any form.

◾Reservation for specific caste are provided. This helps the socially and economically backward classes to imrove their situation in society.

◾Right to Equality also overcome this social evil. According to this all citizens are equal before law.
