In the derivation of formula of upthrust
that is u=
 \times volume \times density \times accleration \: due \: o \: gran \\ vity
in last we get mg which weight is represented here?

Answer:

Given:

Proof of the upthrust in case of Buoyant force .

To explain:

What is the Quantity (mg) in the last step of the proof.

Explanation:

First of all , I am going to do the proof once more.

Buoyant force = Vin. × ρ × g ...........(1)

where Vin. is the volume of the object inside the fluid, ρ is the density of the fluid and g refers to gravity.

Now , density = (mass/volume)

=> ρ = (m/vol.)...............(2)

Here m is the mass of the fluid displaced and vol. is the volume of fluid displaced .

Now continuing with eq. (1)

=> Buoyant force = Vin. × (m/vol.) × g

Now, volume of solid inside the fluid is equal to the volume of fluid displaced. [ as per Archimedes Principle]

( So, Vin. = vol. )

=> Buoyant force = mg

Here (mg) refers to the weight of the fluid displaced when we insert the solid into the fluid.
