In the diagram given below, find the angles x, y and z. Also state the reason for each value.

Following the opposite angles principle, x is 110°.

The angle 110° given in the diagram corresponds to the angle above y. Therefore, y is 180° - 110° = 70°

Angle x corresponds with y so y = 110°.
