Given :- , the object is made up of seven 1x1x2 solids. What is the total surface area of the object ?

Solution :-

we have,

  • L = 1
  • B = 1
  • H = 2

→ TSA of one solid = 2(L * B + B * H + H * L)

putting values we get,

→ TSA of one solid = 2(1 * 1 + 1 * 2 + 2 * 1)

→ TSA of one solid = 2(1 + 2 + 2)

→ TSA of one solid = 2 * 5

→ TSA of one solid = 10 units² .

then,

→ Total surface area of 7 such solids = 7 * 10 = 70 units².

therefore, the total surface area of the object will be 70 units².
