Given :-

  • In the present year if the cooperative society can produce = 406 quintals of fishes .
  • The production in a year will be increased 10% in comparison to its previous year.

To Find :-

  • what will be the production of fishes after 3 years. ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Final value = initial value * [ 1 + (Rate of increasing/100) ]^(time period)

given that,

  • Initial value of Production of fishes = 406 quintals.
  • Rate of increasing per year = 10% .
  • Time = 3 years.

so,

→ Production of fishes after 3 years = 406[1 + (10/100)]³

→ Production of fishes after 3 years = 406[1 + (1/10)]³

→ Production of fishes after 3 years = 406(11/10)³

→ Production of fishes after 3 years = (406 * 1331)/1000 = 540.38 qunitals (Ans.)

Hence, Production of fishes after 3 years will be 540.38 quintals.
