During the last puja holidays, I visited Taj Mahal at Agra.
I was aware of the beauty of Taj Mahal, particularly on a full Moonlit night.
When my parents agreed to take me to Agra, I became extremely happy.
We boarded the Taj Express from Delhi and reached Agra within three hours time. We board a taxi from the railway station for reaching Taj.
I was disappointed when I found the entry which was dotted by a large number of houses which revealed like hutments; the narrow lanes were there and dirty.
In addition to that, there was a long queue of people waiting to enter the Taj Mahal.
In spite of all this, we were very excited when we entered the Taj, which looked elegant.
When our turn came, depositing the mobile phones at a police counter, and entered the Taj. It was evening and sunset hour.
We saw green lawns like a carpet, tall trees and fountains sparkling in the sunlight and behold our eyes were charmed by the splendid white dome of Taj which was viewed in the middle of the four marble minarets.
The Taj looked very much delicate and fabulous that it occurred to me almost unreal – a palace made for fairies.
We came back from Taj and Agra by return train with a delighted memory of Taj.
