In the earliest cities what I found challenging

  • The kings, the scribes, and the artisans were the three classes of inhabitants in those towns. They created various artistic shapes and used materials like stone, shells, metals, etc. to create various practical items like weapons, ornaments, vessels, and seals for official documents.
  • Men and women in the Harappan cities produced a wide variety of goods in their homes or in specialised workshops known as craftspersons. Tools, swords, jewellery, and containers were all made of bronze and copper. Ornaments and utensils were made of gold and silver.
  • "The organisation, that is the governing authority of a political unit," "the ruling power in political society," and "the mechanism through which a governing body functions and exercises authority" are all definitions of government.
  • Harappa was the first city in India to be uncovered. It was discovered during the 1920s in the British Indian state of Punjab. The Indus Valley Civilization is also referred to as the Harappan Civilization going forward because Harappa was the first site to be excavated.
