People show their id and enter their vote into one the many boxes. Later their finger is inked so no one can vote twice.

Earlier, people used to put their votes in secret ballot boxes and they need to stamp on the symbol of the party that they need to elect.

The election commission issued some ballot boxes along with the ballot papers for the voters, and symbol of the parties were imprinted on the ballot papers.
