To Find : value of EMF of battery.
Solution:
Current flowing through 2 Ω resistance i 3 A
Potential Difference across 2 Ω resistor = 2 * 3 = 6 V
Potential Difference across 6 Ω resistor & 3 Ω resistor is also 6V
as in Parallel
Current flowing though 6 Ω resistor = 6/6 = 1 A
Current flowing though 6 Ω resistor = 6/3 = 2 A
Total Current flowing through = 3 + 1 + 2 = 6A
To find value of EMF of battery resistance of 4th resistor should be known
let say R
E = 6 + 6R
E = EMF of Batter ( internal resistance of batter ignored)
E = 6 + 6R
