a) hydrogen gas is collected at the cathode and oxygen gas is at anode. (b) The gas which is collected in double the amount in the electrolysis of water experiment is hydrogen.c) Pure water is a bad conductor of electricity. By adding drops of sulphuric acid we make it a good conductor of electricity.
