Answer:

The gas which is collected in double amount is hydrogen. This is because water contains two molecules as compared to one molecule of oxygen.

Answer:

Electrolysis of H2O -

H+ OH-

H+ go to cathode reduction H2

OH- go to anode oxidation O2

n factor of O2 is 4 & H2 is 2

Euivalent Volume = 22.4/nfactor

for O2 = 5.6L

for H2 = 11.2L
