In the end, Alfred's patience and perseverance paid off. He became a full-time employee of Mr. Zanetti's, working for him for the next seven years. Many years later, when he was a grown man, Alfred Emmanuel Smith would go on to serve as governor of New York State. Smith, who never attended high school or college, liked to tell people that everything he needed to know about life he learned at the Fulton Fish Market.

In the excerpt, Alfred is shown as which type of character?

D. Static because he does not change.

Even after seven years he still did not learn anything new.

AquaMoon: I thought it was C.
ebrozosky44: It doesn't give us a whole lot of change in his life. Sure, he changes jobs, but that is not a characteristic. A good example of a static character is Cinderella's stepsisters, while a good example of a dynamic character is Cinderella.
AquaMoon: thanks
ebrozosky44: You're welcome :D
AquaMoon: bye
