Now we know that in infinite many solutions a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

Now 2x + 3y -7=0

(k+1)x+(2k-1)y-(4k+1)=0

Now by applying a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

2x/(k+1)x = 3y/(2k-1)y = -7/-(4k+1)

2/(k+1) = 3/(2k-1) = 7/(4k+1)

Now we have 2/(k+1)=7/(4k+1)

2(4k+1)=7(k+1)

8k+2=7k+7

8k-7k=7-2

k=5
