 Given \: eqution \: ab - c= d + ae

 i) d + ae = ab - c

 \implies d = ab - c - ae \\( d \: in \: terms \: of \:b,c,d \: and \: e )

 ii ) ab - c = d + ae

 \implies ab = d + ae + c

 \implies b = \frac{ d + ae + c }{a} \\(b \: in \: terms \: of \:a,c,d \: and \: e )
