In the equation SO2 + H2O = H2SO3
plz tell why H2 is written before SO3 in its combination?

Answer:

the H2 is reacting with the SO3,this makes the SO3 to become an acid. Also,h2 is a positive ion and so3 is a negative ion and positive ions must come before negative ones.
