= 3(1)-10. = 3-10. = -7

3(2) -10 = 6-10. = -4

3(3)-10. = 9-10. = -1

3(4)-10. = 12-10. = 2

3(5)-10. = 15-10. = 5

The sequence formed is:

-7,-4,-1,2,5

d= a2 -a1

= -4 -(-7)

= -4+7

= -3

d = a3- a2

= -1 -(-4)

= -1+4

=-3

the common difference 'd' is i.e. -3

So it is an A.P.
