Hey Dear
AD = 30 cm
Radius OA = AD/2 = 15 cm
Now, AB is a chord of a circle , such that AB = 24 cm
Draw OL ⊥ AB
We know that perpendicular drawn from the centre to the chord bisects the chord ,
So, AL = LB = 12 cm
In ΔOLA ,
AO² = AL² + OL²
15² = 12² + OL²
OL² = 225 - 144
OL² = 81
OL = 9 cm
AD = 30 cm
