In the figure (2) given below, ABC is right-angled at B. Given that ACB =
side AB = 2 units and side BC = 1 unit, find the value of sin2 + tan2​

by Pythagoras AC =

 \sqrt{5}

now sin = perpendicular / hypotenus

=AB/AC= 2/root 5

tan =p/b

=2/1

now sin 2 + tan 2

= 4/root 5 +4

=4(1/root 5+1)
