Step-by-step explanation:

given,

two right angled triangles ∆ABC&∆ADE

Triangle ∆ABC:

Base of the right angled triangle∆ABC=20m.

Height of the right angled triangle∆ABC=21m.

Area of the right angled triangle∆ABC=1/2×b×h

=1/2×20×21

=10×21

=210m².

Triangle ∆ADE:

Base of the right angled triangle∆ADE=10m.

Height of the right angled triangle∆ADE=10.5m.

Area of the right angled triangle∆ADE=1/2×b×h

=1/2×10×10.5

=5×10.5

=52.5m²

since, asked us to find out shaded region

therefore,

Area of shaded region=

Area of Triangle ∆ABC-Area of Triangle ∆ADE

=210-52.5

=157.5m².
