in the figure, AB and AC are tangents to the circle with center O . If angle BCO is 35° , find angle BAC

Answer:

since AC is a tangent ,

AC is perpendicular to OC

therefore,

Angle BCA = 90°-35°= 55°

similarly,

angle CBA=55°

Therefore angle bac = 180°-(55+55)°= 70°
