ΔAEB = 100 sq. cm

ΔACB = 100 sq. cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

In the ║gm ABCE, AB is ║ to CE

In ΔADB and ΔAEB

AB = AB                    (common base)

Both Δs are drawn between the same parallel lines

As per Theorem 1, two Δs with the same base and in between same ║ lines are equal in area

∵  ΔADB = ΔAEB  = 100 sq. cm

Using the same theorem,

In ΔACB,

AB is the same base again and it is also drawn between the same ║ lines.

∵ ΔADB = ΔAEB  = ΔACB = 100 sq. cm
