Elucidation :-

We have been provided with information,

  • Right angled ∆ ABC in which,
  • ∠ A = x
  • ∠ C = x + 40°
  • ∠ B = 90°

Now, According to angle sum property of a Triangle, we know that,

=> Sum of all angles of a triangle is 180°

Therefore,

  \sf : \implies \: x + x + 40 + 90 = 180 \\ \sf : \implies \: 2x + 130 = 180 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \sf : \implies \: 2x = 180 - 130 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \sf : \implies \: x = \frac{50}{2} = 25 \degree \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:

Therefore,

  • ∠ A = x = 25°
  • ∠ C = x + 40° = 25° + 40° = 65°

Hope that helps! ^_^
