In the figure ABCD, BD = BC=AD and
angle ACD =37. Find angle ADB.​

L BCD = L CDB = 37° [ angles opposite to equal sides]

By angle sum property in triangle BDC

L CBD = 180- 2×37 = 180 - 74 = 106°

L DBC + L DBA = 180 ( angles on line)

L DBA = 180 - 106 = 74°

similarly in triangle ABD

L DBA + L DAB + y = 180

L DBA = L DAB =74

y = 180-2×74 = 180 - 148 = 32°
