given that,

→ AB = Let length of rectangle = 10 cm

→ BC = Let breadth of rectangle = 8 cm .

So,

→ Area of rectangle ABCD = Length * Breadth

→ Area of rectangle ABCD = 10 * 8

→ Area of rectangle ABCD = 80 cm² (Ans.)

Hence, the area of rectangle ABCD is equal to 80 cm² .
