<APD + <DPC = 180° (linear pair of angles) <APD +80° = 180°

<APD 100°

Now,

In triangle APL

<APL = <DPC = 80°( vertically opposite angles)

<APL + <PLA = <APD (sum of two interior

angles of a triangle is equal to its opposite

exterior angle)

<PLA = 20°

<PAL = 80° (Sum of all angles of a triangle)

<APL + <PAL = x

80° +80° X

X = 160°
