In the figure AD = 1/2AB, AE = 1/2AC, if AB = AC. Show that BD = CE.​

AB=AC. -eq1

Then,

AD = AE. -eq2

AB = AD + BD. -eq3

AC = AE + CE. -eq4

From EQ 1

AD + BD = AE + CE

BD = CE. ( from EQ 2 AD= AE)

Hence, proved
