Given :-
- ∠B = 90° .
- ∠A = ∠C .
- BC = 10 cm.
To Find :-
- tan 45° = ?
Solution :-
we know that,
- Angle opposite to equal sides are equal .
so,
→ ∠A = ∠C (given)
then,
→ AB = BC
therefore,
→ AB = 10 cm .
so,
→ ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°
→ 2•∠A + 90° = 180°
→ 2•∠A = 180° - 90°
→ 2•∠A = 90°
→ ∠A = 45°
hence,
→ tan 45° = AB / BC
→ tan 45° = 1 / 1
→ tan 45° = 1 (Ans.)
