Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(a)

Angle A + Angle B = 180-60=120

AO=BO. ( Radii)

therefore

angle A= angle B

A+B=120

A+A=120

2A = 120

A= 120/2 =60°

(b)

all angle are 60°

therefore

∆AOB is a equilateral triangle

AB=AO=BO

given that AB = 6cm

Radius AO= 6cm

Given:

In the figure ∠AOB = 60°

AB = 3cm.

To Find:

a. What is the measure of ∠A and ∠B?

b. What is the radius of the circle?

Solution:

(a) We know that,

    ∠A + ∠B = 180-60 = 120

     AO = BO  (Radii)

    So,

    ∠A = ∠B

     ⇒A+B = 120

        A+A = 120

          2A = 120

            A = 120/2 = 60°

(b) We know that all angles are 60°

    Therefore, ∆AOB is a equilateral triangle.

    So,

        AB=AO=BO

    We have,

         AB = 6cm

         Radius AO = AB = 6cm

Hence, the measure of ∠A and ∠B is 60°, and radius of the circle is 6cm.
