In the figure area of ABC is 80 cm 2. Area of ADC is 30 cm 2 and BC = 16 cm 2.
a) Find the area of ABD?
b) Find BD: DC?
c) Find the length of BD?
d) Find the length of DC?

b) 1:1

c) 8cm

d) 8cm

a) ADC= 80-30

= 50cm.

b) BC= BD+DC

= 8+8

= 16cm.

BD/DC= 8/8 =1:1

c) BD= 8cm.

d) DC= 8cm.
