OB=OP (since both are radius of same circle )

OB=√(3^2+1^2)=√10

hence OP=√10

There for the point P is (√10,0)

AB = 3OA

To Find:

number point P represents.

Solution:

As we can see in the figure, both OA and OP are the radius of the same circle

So,

        OA = OP [Radius of the same circle]

        OB = \sqrt{3^{2} + 1^{2}  }

               = \sqrt{10}

    So, OP = \sqrt{10}

Now, point P is (\sqrt{10},0).

Therefore, point P represents (√10,0).
