In the figure,D and E are points on the base BC of triangle ABC such that BD=CE,AD=AE and angle ADE=angle AED. prove that triangle ABE is congruent to triangle ACD.

Given;D and E are points on the base BC of triangle ABC such that BD=CE,AD=AE and angle ADE=angle AED.

To prove; /_ABE(congruent)/_ACD

Proof;AD=AE (GIVEN)

          BD=CE(GIVEN)

          ADE=AED(GIVEN)

          DAE is a common angle sooo...

       add with both

           ABD+DAE=AEC+DAE

           Therefore,ABE=ACD

     So we can conclude with ABE(congruent)ACD
