- Area of the shaded region will be:
- Area of the square - Area of the four quadrants
- Area of the square ABCD = side² = 50² = 2500 m²
- Area of the four quadrants = Area of circle = π × (50/2)² = 1963.5 m²
- Thus the area of the shaded region = 2500 - 1963.5 = 536.5 m²
