In the figure given above O ABCD is a square of side 50 m. Points
P, Q, R, S are midpoints of side AB, side BC, side CD, side AD
respectively. Find area of shaded region.​

area of square =side²

area of a square =2500

area of a quadrant =tita/360×22/7r²

area of quadrant =90/360×22/7×25/2

area of a quadrant =1/4×11/7×25

area of a quadrant =9.82

area of shaded region =2490.18

AP = 1/2 x AB

AP = 25m

Angle PAS = 90 degrees

Area of Sector(D-SP) = 90/360 x 3.14 x 25 x 25

Area of the sector = 490.625 sq.m

Similarly Areas of all the sectors is 490.625 sq.m

Area of a square = Side x Side

Area of the Square ABCD=50 x 50

Area of the square = 2500 sq.m

Area of the shaded region = Area of square - Area of sectors

= 2500 - 4 x 490.625

= 2500 - 1962.5

= 537.5
