area of a parallelogram = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 8 × h = 44

= 4h = 44

h = 44/4

h = 11

therefore , the height if the parallelogram = 11cm

Given : Area of parallelogram ABCD = 44 cm²

AD = 8 cm

To find: Height of parallelogram

Solution: Area of parallelogram = Height × base

44 = h × 8

H = 44/8

H = 5.5 cm
