Car A moves faster because it moves with high velocity than that of Car B and it takes less time also .
i.e. speed = d/t

The car A moves faster.

• As shown in the given diagram,the car A covers more distance than car B in same amount of time.

• Because,on a particular point of time axis,the straight line of velocity of car A reaches much higher value than the straight line of the velocity of car B,on the graph.

• So,for a specific time 't',if the car A covers 'd1' distance and car B covers 'd2' distance.Then d1 will be greater than d2.

• Now,

Velocity of car A = d1/t

Velocity of car B = d2/t

So,d1/t will be greater than d2/t, because t is constant,d1 is greater than d2.

• As a conclusion,we can now say that car A has higher velocity than car B.
