To Find :- value of sinθ and cos∝ ?

Answer :-

we know that,

  • sin θ = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse .
  • cos θ = Base / Hypotenuse .
  • Side opposite to angle is perpendicular .

In right angled ∆PQR, we have,

  • PQ = 12 cm.
  • QR = 5 cm .
  • PR = 13 cm (Hypotenuse) .
  • ∠QPR = θ .
  • ∠QRP = ∝ .

so,

→ sin θ = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse

→ sin θ = QR / PR

→ sin θ = (5 / 13) (Ans.)

and,

→ cos ∝ = Base / Hypotenuse .

→ cos ∝ = QR / PR

→ cos ∝ = (5 / 13) (Ans.)
