in the figure given below , PA and PB are tangents to the circle drawn from an external point P .CD is a third tangent touching the circle at Q . if PB = 10 cm and CQ = 2cm what is the length of PC

PA = PB = 10 cm (tangents from an external point to a circle are equal) 

CQ = CA = 2 cm  

PC = PA – AC 

= 10 – 2 

= 8 cm
