In the figure given below, what is the equilibrium of the rod i.e. is translational or rotational ?

The answer is transitional. but why not rotational?

hey mate!!

the object will said to be in translational when the sum of all the forces acting upon it is equals to 0.

here the object is rotating with constant velocity which will tend to be 0.
