Answer: 84

Step-by-step explanation:

Area  of Triangle GFJ=

Using semi perimeter formula we 12 + 10 + 10 / 2 = 16

Area when all sides are given \sqrt{}s[s-a][s-b][s-c] = 48

So the area of the triangle is 48.

Now let us cut the Triangle GFJ into two parts from the GB and JC.

So GFJ is divided into 2 right angled triangle

Let us assume that 3 is the smallest side of a right angled triangle

So the other two sides is 3^2+1/2=5 and 5-1=4

GA = 5

Now area = 4*3/2=6

Total area of both triangles = 12

Area of Gfj -both triangles =36

Now area of big rectangle 20*6 = 120 m^ 2

Area of shaded region =  120 - 36 = 84 m^2
