In the figure given, the angle between incident ray and the reflected ray is 80°

1) Angle of Incidence
2) Angle between the mirror and normal

Explanation:

40 because while is 80 so 80/2 is 40 if we divide angle of incid nce and angle of reflection.

50 because 180-80=100 so 100/2 and it's 50

(i)Let the angle of incidence be x.

We know that:-

angle of incidence=angle of reflection

angle of reflection+angle of incidence=80°

x+x=80°

2x=80°

x=80÷2=40°

Hence the angle of incidence is 40°

(ii) Answer:-

Angle between the mirror and the normal is always 90°. The angles of incidence or reflection will never change the angle between the mirror and normal.
