Answer:

2)1386 cm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

PQ^2 + QR^2 = PR^2

28^2 + QR^2 = 35^2

784  + QR^2 = 1225

QR^2 = 1225 - 784

QR^2 = 441

QR = \sqrt{441}

QR= 21

Here we can say that QR is the radius of the circle

R = 21cm

Area of circle = πr^2

                      ⇒ π = 22/7

                      ⇒ 22/7 × 21×21

                      ⇒22 × 3× 21

                     Ans = 1386 cm^{2}

Answer: 3) 1333.05 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

PQ=28cm , PR=35cm

By the Pythagoras theorem,

RQ= √(35^2-28^2) =21cm

Area of portion of the circle =

3/4(π×21^2) =1,039.08

Area of portion of the triangle =

1/2(28×21) = 294

Total area =1039.08+294= 1333.08 cm^2
