x + y = 180 ( co. interior  angle )

⇒  5n + 4n = 180

⇒ 9 n  = 180

∴ n = 20

∴ x = 20 * 5 = 100

x = z (alternate angle )

∴ z =  100

solution :- In the figure, AB is parallel to EF,
Therefore, x+y = 180 (co-interior angles are supplementary)
Let x = 5a
Let y = 4a
x+y = 180
5a+4a = 180
      9a = 180
        a = 180/9 = 20 degrees

Therefore, x = 5a = 100 degrees
Since AB is parallel to CD,
x = z = 100 (alternate interior angles are equal)

Hope this helps!
