In ΔACD, DC||EO

\dfrac{DE}{EA}=\dfrac{x-3}{2x} --------(2)       (Using Basic Proportionality theorem)

Using eq(1) and eq(2)

\dfrac{x-3}{x+3}=\dfrac{x-3}{2x}

2x=x+3

x=3

x=3 is not possible for x. No solution.
