Now ∵ AB ║ CD

⇒ ∠BAC = ∠DCA = 90°   ··········· (I)

Now observe that Figure DCABE forms a Pentagon.

We know that,

Sum of all angles of pentagon = 540°

⇒ ∠BAC + ∠DCA + ∠ABE + ∠EDC + ∠BED = 540°

⇒ 90° + 90° + 150° + 140° + x = 540°         [ From (1) and Given ]

⇒ x = 540° - 470°

∴ x = 70°
