Given :-
- AP || CR || BQ.
- AP = 4.5cm.
- AC = 3cm.
- BC = 6cm.
- BQ = 7.5cm.
To Find :-
- CR = ?
Solution :-
Given that,
→ AP || CR || BQ.
So,
→ AP || RO.
→ OC || QB .
Now,
→ AP || RO.
So ,
→ RO/AP = RQ / PQ
→ RO/4.5 = 6/9
→ RO = (6 * 4.5)/9 = 3 cm.
Similarly,
→ OC || QB .
So,
→ OC/QB = AC/AB
→ OC / 7.5 = 3/9
→ OC = (7.5 * 3)/9 = 2.5
Hence,
→ CR = RO + OC
→ CR = 3 + 2.5
→ CR = 5.5 cm. (Ans.)
