Given :-

  • AP || CR || BQ.
  • AP = 4.5cm.
  • AC = 3cm.
  • BC = 6cm.
  • BQ = 7.5cm.

To Find :-

  • CR = ?

Solution :-

Given that,

→ AP || CR || BQ.

So,

AP || RO.

→ OC || QB .

Now,

→ AP || RO.

So ,

RO/AP = RQ / PQ

→ RO/4.5 = 6/9

→ RO = (6 * 4.5)/9 = 3 cm.

Similarly,

OC || QB .

So,

OC/QB = AC/AB

→ OC / 7.5 = 3/9

→ OC = (7.5 * 3)/9 = 2.5

Hence,

CR = RO + OC

→ CR = 3 + 2.5

→ CR = 5.5 cm. (Ans.)
