In the figure, if O is the centre of the circle then find angle AOB?

Angle AOB = 120° { 2:1 theorem } only if angle OAC = angle OBC = 30°

But, if angle OAC is 20° and angle OBC is 30°, then angle AOB = 100° { 2:1 theorem.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER...


OA = OC (Radii of same circle)
=> Angle OAC = Angle OCA
=> Angle OCA = 20°

Similarly, Angle OCB = 30°

Angle ACB = 50°
Therefore, Angle AOB = 100°.
