Hey dear friend
Given-;
BC(base)=6cm
AC(hypotenuse)=10cm
To Find-:
AB(Perpendicular)=?
Solution-:
As we know that
Pythagoras Theorem=>H²=P²+B²
By using it
=>10²=P²+6²
=>100=P²+36
=>100-36=P²
=>64=P²
=>P=8
So, the height (AB) of a triangle ABC is 8cm.

The third side of triangle = 8 cm
Given:
In the figure ABC is a right angled triangle
With AB = 6 cm and AC = 10 cm
To find:
Third side of the triangle
Solution:
Given triangle ABC is right angled triangle
From Pythagoras theorem,
Hyp² = side² + side²
AC² = AB² + BC²
⇒ 10² = 6² + BC
⇒ BC² = 100 - 36 = 64
⇒ BC² = 8²
⇒ BC = 8 cm
The third side of triangle = 8 cm
