In the figure is shown a design made on a square tile. The design shows 8 triangle, each of sides 17cm, 25cm and 12cm. Find the total area of 8 triangular tiles and the remaining area of the square tile.

by the herons formula
sqrt(27(27-17)(27-12)(27-25))=90
so all title are=90*2*4=720

remaining area=2500-720=1780
