In the figure line l1 is parallel to l2 and line l2 is parallel to l3 . AB is perpendicular to l1 and angle CBF= 55°. Find the value of x, y and z​

∠FBE + x° = 180°     (consecutive interior angles)

55° + x° = 180°

x° = 180° - 55° = 125°

L2 || L1 , CEB  is a transversal

x = y = 125°   (corresponding angle)

AB is perpendicular to L1 , so it will be perpendicular to L3 also since L1 and L3 are parallel.

z + ∠FBE = 90°

z + 55° = 90°

z = 35°
