a. In a triangle sum of all angles =180

A+B+C=180

x+90+y=180

x+y=180-90=90° and x=90-y......(1)

b. sin x=sin (90-y) we know that sin (90-y)=cosy

so sin x= cos y

c. sin x=cos x the principal solution of this eq is x=45°

cos 45=1/square root of 2 =sin 45
